NCG nursery

Renovation of a villa and its park in a nursery for 35 children aged from 3 to 36 months.

The municipality of Tione wanted to adapt this beautiful residence into a nursery but it was a rental property so the budget was cramped and the technical regulation to fulfill quite expensive with its fire prevention plan and compulsory lift., so the budget left to make attractive spaces was even tinier.
We decided to work on restricted areas on diagonal lines intending to open a visual connection through the small rooms composing the former house.
These gates were enhanced with the use of yellow panels that help characterizing the spaces and turn, from time to time, into a piece of ceiling, a fixed furniture or a sliding door.
